Sullivan Daily Times, March 20, 1976 Sullivan, Indiana Charles E. Reynolds Charles E. 'Fish' Reynolds, 87, 804 Woodlane, died at 12:50 p.m. Saturday at the Canterbury Convalescent Center. Surviving are a son, Aurel "Fish" of Terre Haute, and a brother, Fred of Fairbanks; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the DeBaun Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Lane officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Sullivan Daily Times, May 16, 1977 Sullivan, Indiana Roy Reynolds Roy L. Reynolds, 73 formerly of the Dugger and Cass communities, passed away Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Johns Hospital in Anderson. His wife, Lucille Mitchell Reynolds preceded him in death. He was born in Jackson county, Ohio, March 24, 1901, the son of Claude and Mattie Davis Reynolds. He is survived by a son, David Reynolds and a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Boone, both of Anderson; three brothers, Homer of Cass, Raymond of Dugger, and David of Lafayette; two sisters; Mrs. Bertha Shanks of Farmersburg, and Mrs. Maxine Baker of Monticello; two grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Newkirk Funeral Home with Brother J. B. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Sullivan Daily Times Sullivan, Indiana Allison D. Reynolds Funeral Services for Allison D. Reynolds, 82, of Terre Haute and formerly of Sullivan, were held recently in Terre Haute. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John H. Reynolds of Oceanside, California; three brothers, Charles of Bradenton, Florida, Fred and William Reynolds, both of Fairbanks, one sister, Ada Sluder, of Fairbanks; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Sullivan Daily Times Sullivan, Indiana William Reynolds William Reynolds, 79, of Fairbanks, died Sunday evening at his residence. He is survived by the widow, Lola; one son, Ancil, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Forrest Harris; one sister, Mrs. Ada Sluder, all of Fairbanks, two brothers, Fred of Fairbanks and Charles 'Fish' Reynolds of Bradenton, Florida; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the DeBaun Funeral Home in Prairie Creek. Burial will be in Pleasant Green Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning. Reynolds, 54, of Dugger, who died Saturday were conducted at the Newkirk Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today. Burial was in the Dugger Cemetery. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Cass Methodist Church and the Cass Homemakers. Survivors include the husband, Gilbert, four daughters, Mrs. Sandra Crowe of Jasonville, Mrs. Martha Edwards of Lyons, Michigan, Mrs. Barbara Cooke of Palestine, Illinois and Mrs. Betty Chambers of Sullivan, the mother Mrs. Kate Bledsoe of Sullivan, one brother, James Bledsoe, Bloomfield, two sisters, Mrs. Delores Ashcraft, of Sullivan, Mrs. Virginia Belvowski, of Kingsbury, and six grandchildren. Reynolds, 60, Route 3 Sullivan, who died at Union Hospital in Terre Haute at 7 a.m. today. His wife Doris, preceded him in death. Mr. Reynolds is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sandra Kay Crowe, of Jasonville, Mrs. Martha Jane Edwards, of Lyons, Michigan, Mrs. Barbara Cooke, Findley, Ohio, and Mrs. Betty Chambers, Route 3 Sullivan, four brothers, Homer, Route 3, Sullivan, Raymond, of Dugger, Roy, of Anderson, and Dave of Lafayette, two sisters, Mrs. Maxine Baker of Lafayette, Mrs. Bertha Shanks, of Farmersburg; and seven grandchildren. Sullivan Daily Times, May 30, 1973 Sullivan, Indiana Mrs. Gladys Stewart Reynolds Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Gladys Stewart Reynolds, 69, of Battle Creek, Michigan, formerly of Sullivan, who died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at Battle Creek. Surviving are the husband, Smith, two sons, Laverne and Merle, both of Battle Creek; four sisters, Mrs. Carl Hunt, Sullivan, Mrs. Helen Woodard, Robinson, Illinois, Mrs. Ralph Whitman, Augusta, Michigan, and Mrs. Lucille Rock, Cincinnati, Ohio, three brothers, Wilburn, Augusta, Carroll, Lafayette, Indiana and Herbert, Cincinnati, Ohio, and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Eleanore and Wilma, a sister, Mrs. Ruby Weir, and two brothers, Paul and James. Reynolds Mrs. Daisy M. Reynolds, 74, of Jasonville, died at 4:40 a.m. Monday at the Greene County Hospital. Mrs. Reynolds was formerly of Hymera. She was a member of the Hymera United Methodist Church and the Hymera American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include one son, Olen Reynolds, Jr., Jasonville, one sister, Nelle Turner, Farmersburg, and three grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the McHugh Hymera Chapel with the Rev. Tom Stapp officiating. Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Sullivan Daily Times, Monday, Aug 14, 1978 Sullivan, Indiana Ernest "Nip" Reynolds Ernest "Nip" Reynolds, 86, Brazil, formerly of Hymera, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday in Clay County Hospital. He was a member of the Hymera First Baptist Church and Hymera Masonic Lodge 588. He was preceded in death by his son, Ernest Jr. Surviving are his wife, Jean, one daughter, Mrs. Cletus Keiser, Brazil, one brother Jesse, Route 1, Shelburne, one niece, Mrs. Robertine Hoffman, Seelyville and one nephew, Emery Barcus, Hymera. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McHugh Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norman Jett officiating. Burial will take place in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Sullivan Daily Times, Monday, July 18, 1977 Sullivan, Indiana Mrs. Gladys E. Asbury Mrs. Gladys E. Asbury, 84, formerly of Hymera, died at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Shelbyville, Indiana. She was a member of Hymera United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Vivian Stroud, Indianapolis, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the McHugh Hymera Chapel with the Rev. Tom Stapp officiating. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. Trib Star September 19, 1991 Terre Haute, Indiana Benny F. Reynolds, SR. Benny F. Reynolds, SR, 78, of Dreiser Square, died at 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 1991, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was a retired steel worker for American Hoist & Derrick. He was born Nov 23, 1912, in Renssalaer to Joseph Reynolds and Elva Detty Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, V. Irene Maners Reynolds, one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Reynolds Cox, of Zionsville; four sons, Benny F. JR, of Avon, Donald G. of Plainfield, Ronald K. of Brownsburg and David C. of Harmony; one sister, Ruby Fudge of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Lewis. Services are 10 a.m. Friday in DeBaun Idaho Street Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Carrell and the Rev. Pete Lafko officiating. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday in Lincoln Memory Gardens at Zionsville. Visitation is 4 to 8:30 p.m. today and before services Friday. |
